SKAM: A EUROPEAN PHENOMENON

 Skam(shame) is a Norwegian teen series that startes at 2015 via the internet. Since then, another 7 countries have created their own adaptations. In particular, besides the original Skam there are also Skam Italy, Skam France, Druck (the German one), Skam Netherland, Skam Espana, wtFOCK(Skam Belgium) and Skam Austin. Soon there is also going to be released British Skam.

In each season the series focuses on the daily life of a student with the central themes of each season being frienly or romantic relationships, sexuality (a whole season in each adoptation is dedicated to homosexuality), the psychological health, sexual harasment and religion.

Skam has modern photography, excellent music and talented actors. I have already watched the original Skam adn then the French and Italian. I consider that  Skam Italy is the best adoptation especially for adault audience. 

In the second season of  Skam Italia the protagonist is Martino who we already know from season 1. He lives with his mother who goes through a tough time after taking divorce with his father. In a meeting for the creation of a  radio team fir the school, Martin meet Nicollo and from the first moment they drow each others attention.

In Skam France and Druck you can see the gay storyline in the 3rd season. The other adaptations are not there yet.
